Duties
- Lead diverse group fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts to energize participants and promote active lifestyles
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring correct form and biomechanics to maximize benefits and prevent injuries
- Design tailored workout programs for individuals and groups based on fitness levels, goals, and medical considerations
- Provide coaching and motivation during classes, encouraging members to push their limits safely
- Assist with orientation sessions, manual handling demonstrations, and safety protocols such as AED operation and first aid procedures
- Engage with members to foster a supportive community atmosphere, answer questions about fitness programs, and promote gym memberships or personal training services
- Maintain equipment safety by conducting regular checks, cleaning equipment after use, and adhering to health club standard
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and sports coaching principles
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction across multiple disciplines such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, or dance-based classes
- Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and manual handling are essential
- Demonstrated ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to diverse client needs
- Excellent coaching skills with the ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and provide constructive feedback
- Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote memberships and personal training packages effectively
- Willingness to work in a indoor and outdoor environment or similar setting is preferred
