Job Description:
Titan Lansing, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Andersons, is a turnkey, logistics company servicing our customers from mine to well. Services include frac sand storage, trucking, sand production and transloading.
This position will be located at our Buffalo Grass terminal located between Carlsbad and Hobbs, New Mexico.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading and participating in the work of a crew performing plant operations, switching operations, material handling, and general site maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient start up, operation, shut down of the conveyor systems, bucket elevator, dust collectors, and scale load-out points. Prioritize daily duties/tasks, communicate with management and customers, and maintain written or electronic records
- Ensure proper work methods and standards; monitor crew work quality; ensure adherence to time schedules and safe work practices, provide performance feedback and input for management
- Assist with safety committee meetings and morning safety talks
- Train and onboard new operations workers
- Communicate and coordinate with management, customers, and shift crew
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Has developed expertise, typically through a combination of job-related training and considerable on the job experience
- Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Has developed a specialized level of skill to perform assigned tasks
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 5 years’ relevant experience required
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet
- Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Working conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
