Sales Development Representative
About Us:
The Anderson Search Group is a national executive search firm specializing in commercial
banking and private wealth management. We partner with leading banks and financial
institutions across the U.S. to identify and place top talent. To support our continued
growth, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team and play a key
role in outbound outreach, candidate sourcing, and client development.
Key Responsibilities:
- High-Volume Outbound Calling: Execute 100 daily outbound dials to prospective clients and candidates, maintaining energy, professionalism, and consistency.
- Data Management: Accurately track and update all outreach activity, call notes, and candidate/client information within the CRM to ensure data integrity.
- Campaign Creation & Execution: Assist in developing and running targeted outreach campaigns to generate leads, build pipelines, and drive engagement.
- Candidate Sourcing: Identify and engage prospective candidates through outbound calling, database mining, and other recruiting platforms to support recruiting efforts.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: Effectively handle objections, negotiate interest, and successfully obtain fee agreements with prospective clients, as well as secure commitments such as scheduled calls, meetings, or candidate interest in opportunities.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospects and candidates, prioritizing leads based on business needs and campaign goals.
- Collaboration with Team: Partner with recruiters and leadership to align outreach strategies with client and candidate needs.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor call volume, connection rates, and conversion metrics to meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay open to coaching, refine messaging based on results, and contribute ideas to improve team efficiency and outreach effectiveness.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (business, communications, marketing, or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in outbound calling, sales, telemarketing, recruiting support, or customer-facing roles.
- Potential backgrounds include: prior phone sales, telemarketing, call center, or restaurant/hospitality positions where upselling, customer service, and handling high-volume interactions were required.
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to engage decision-makers.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to manage high-volume data entry and call notes.
- Resilient, coachable, and motivated by measurable results in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
