The Anchor Restaurant is hiring for the 2026 season (June–October) and offers competitive pay, flexible schedules, and willing to train the right people if you have limited kitchen experience... some of our most talented people we have had started fresh! Really, attitude is everything!
Seasonal Restaurant Positions – Roles Hiring (Spring–Fall 2026)
The Anchor Restaurant in Round Pond Maine, which is a 15 minute drive from Damariscotta and 20 minutes from Route 1 in Waldoboro, Maine
We are seeking positive individuals who take pride in their work and are nice to work with (most of the time)
SINCE WE MAKE EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH, WE NEED MORE FOLKS TO HELP US PREPARE THE FOOD, LOCAL & FRESH
Kitchen Positions-
Salad Station Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare salads and cold menu items
- Maintain prep levels during service
- Keep station clean and organized
Fry Cook
Responsibilities:
- Operate fry station during service
- Maintain quality and consistency of fried items
- Assist with prep and station cleaning
Prep Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for daily service
- Follow recipes and prep lists
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
Dishwasher
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dish area
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks
