Amlon Golden Triangle (AGT), a leader in environmental and industrial waste management services, is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to expand our commercial presence across the Gulf Coast and surrounding regions. This role plays a critical part in accelerating growth for AGT’s legacy EcoWerks operations by identifying high-value waste streams, building strong relationships with generators and brokers, and aligning customer needs with AGT’s specialized treatment and processing capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, proven experience in developing strategic customer partnerships, and the ability to position AGT’s solutions effectively within a competitive environmental services market.
Base Salary: $115,000-$125,000 per year commissions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and onboard generators and brokers of non-hazardous and hazardous industrial waste streams aligned with the Amlon Golden Triangle (AGT) facility’s treatment, storage, and disposal capabilities.
- Target brokers, refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial manufacturers throughout the Gulf Coast and surrounding regions.
- Develop a strong understanding of AGT’s legacy EcoWerks operations, including specialized treatment technologies, blending, and waste processing capabilities, to effectively match customer needs.
- Negotiate pricing, treatment options, and logistics in collaboration with Operations, Transportation, and Compliance teams to ensure both profitability and regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Engage with EHS managers, procurement teams, plant managers, and facility engineers to understand waste generation profiles and compliance requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with other Amlon Business Development Managers to identify cross-selling opportunities across Amlon’s network of RCRA and recycling facilities.
- Represent Amlon Golden Triangle at trade shows, environmental conferences, and industry networking events.
- Provide detailed customer and market feedback to help refine AGT’s commercial strategy and operational priorities.
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Business, or equivalent industry experience (preferred but not required).
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales in the hazardous waste, TSDF, or environmental services industry.
- Strong working knowledge of RCRA regulations, hazardous waste codes, profiling, and water treatment technologies.
- Proven success in selling services to waste brokers, refineries, chemical manufacturers, or industrial facilities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and comfort with digital pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
