WHO YOU ARE
As the Human Resources Generalist you are responsible for advanced and confidential duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our Carlisle, Pennsylvania facility
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Recruits all core employees along with maintaining staffing agency requests and communications. Responsible for all internal and external communications regarding position openings.
- Conduct pre-employment physicals, drug screens and engaging new hire orientations.
- Maintain and coordinate employee activities and assists with communications looping communication, bulletin boards, etc.).
- Assist with Employee Relations concerns, maintain positive associate relations.
- Administer the employee surveys, analyze, and present findings to management and assist in development of action plans.
- Create and maintain statistical data for the human resource department.
- Assist with the attendance process and disciplinary documentation.
- Guide the Disciplinary Appeal process and set up panels.
- Human Resource support includes processing new hires, status changes, terminations, and employee benefit communications.
- Support and assist with unemployment claims.
- Conduct employee exit interview and communicate specific issues with management.
- Ability to be flexible and represent HR on all shifts.
- Assist with special projects (open enrollment, annual increases, wellness programs).
- Ability to work in a team environment & maintain regular attendance.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resource Management or related field
- 0 - 3 years Human Resources experience
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of HR administrative requirements pertaining to OSHA, FMLA, COBRA, STD, AAP, EEO, ADA, Unemployment, and Workers' Compensation
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems. UltiPro/UKG a plus.
- Ability to effectively present information publicly to varying audiences
- Ability to properly maintain confidential or sensitive information
- Ability to inspire and get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals, showing consideration for and maintaining good relations with others
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace
- Ability to travel to local and national locations

Salary : $47,900 - $60,700
