Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Skills:
- Experience in bartending and using Aloha POS system preferred
- Knowledge of food service, food handling, and food safety regulations
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons
- Understanding of retail math for handling payments
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately
