Role Description The Bee Wrangler is a full-time, on-site role based in Combes, TX, responsible for safely handling, relocating, and managing honey bee colonies in a variety of settings. Day-to-day tasks include assessing bee activity, planning safe removal or relocation procedures, and maintaining hives and related equipment. The role involves educating community members about bee safety and conservation, documenting hive locations and activity, and coordinating with team members to respond to service requests. The Bee Wrangler will also monitor colony health, support basic data entry related to hive records, and follow all safety protocols and guidelines. This role requires working outdoors in varying conditions and maintaining professional, calm communication with clients and the public.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication abilities to explain procedures clearly, educate community members, and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Basic Databases and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate hive locations, activity logs, and service documentation.
- Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions, including use of protective gear and adherence to safety protocols.
- Interest in or prior exposure to beekeeping, wildlife management, or environmental conservation is highly beneficial.
