The Customer Service & Sales Coordinator is responsible for tracking incoming leads, keeping residential quotes moving, and helping customers through the sales process. This person also supports the commercial team by organizing bid invitations, deadlines, proposals, and related communication.
The goal is to make sure every opportunity has an owner, a current status, and a clear next step.
Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
Residential leads and sales
Respond to new inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Gather the information needed to understand each customer’s project.
Enter and update leads, quotes, follow-up dates, and outcomes in the company’s tracking system.
Schedule measurements and coordinate appointments with the project manager.
Prepare and send quotes using the company’s approved pricing process.
Follow up with customers on open quotes, answer questions, and help close jobs.
Flag requests involving unusual designs, pricing exceptions, or technical questions for review.
Commercial support
Monitor incoming bid invitations and record bid deadlines.
Organize project emails, plans, specifications, and proposal requests.
Help prepare and send bids after pricing and scope have been approved.
Track submitted bids and follow up on their status.
Keep the team aware of approaching deadlines and outstanding requests.
Customer and team communication
Keep customers informed about the next step in their project.
Coordinate information between customers, the project manager, estimators, and installers.
Maintain clear, accurate notes so another team member can pick up a job without losing context.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Confidence following up with customers and asking for the sale.
Ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines without losing details.
Comfort using email, spreadsheets, and customer or quoting software.
Experience in glass, construction, home improvement, customer service, or inside sales is preferred but not required.
