Dessert Production Team Member
Brief Definition of Role: This position entails filling our dessert cases with bite sized sweets.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory
- Daily quality checks of products (checking dates)
- Daily production for items, including but not limited to case items, etc.
- Manages workstation, including inventory, organization and cleanliness of dried storage and walk-in refrigeration
- Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Self starter, be able to prioritize, responsible (make lists, charting,
- Operates quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, time-driven environment, while ensuring consistent, high quality products
- Ability to follow a recipe
- Basic math skills necessary for recipe conversions and/or modifications
- A genuine passion and knowledge for food and pastries
- Dependable and hard-working
- Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards
Experience: Entry Level - prior food experience encouraged but not required. Strong willingness to learn.
- Passion for pastry desserts
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the job
- Standing/walking 7-8 hours (in an 8-hour work day)
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures: <32°F (freezers), 32-40°F (refrigerators), >90°F
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Starting Rate: $13
