This position is offered on a twelve month contract, with flexibility to take time off during school breaks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-monthly payroll using ADP software with accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition.
- Manage employee benefits programs and maintain 401k records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and the employee handbook.
- Create and manage job postings
- Handle employee offboarding, including exit interviews and final paperwork.
- Draft and manage annual staff contracts to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in human resources with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to address sensitive issues with tact and professionalism.
- Warm, approachable, and empathetic, yet confident in enforcing policies when necessary.
