This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Santa Monica, CA. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring the functionality and safety of hotel facilities. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, addressing guest service requests promptly, and collaborating with other staff to maintain a high standard of property upkeep and safety.
- Proficiency in building systems maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with safety regulations, procedures, and preventive maintenance standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus
- Relevant technical certifications or training are desirable
