Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop Systems Support and Operations
- Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
- Provide onsite, hands-on Operations and Maintenance support for client computing devices, including personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, Portable Electronic Devices, and peripherals.
- Provide end-user IT system and software maintenance for the USCENTCOM COOP.
- Perform systems planning and coordinate/connect IT systems.
- Expand and/or modify established systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Work within Windows, Linux, and/or virtual environments.
- Coordinate and manage Automated Data Processing Equipment accountability for new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades.
- Track the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle, including Computer Equipment Replacement Program and Life Cycle Replacement.
- Process end-of-life, defective, and/or damaged equipment through the Defense Reutilization Management Office.
- Maintain key customer relationships to support strategic technology insertion and lifecycle replacement of IT hardware for the entire IT Enterprise.
- Develop procedures to facilitate management and testing of desktop load set configurations.
- Track and compile user issues, software conflicts, device conflicts, and similar tasks.
- Establish standards for information systems procedures.
- Document integration processes, including configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and design integrated solutions that meet functional and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to implement integration interfaces and APIs.
- Conduct testing and validation of integrated systems.
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in functionality or performance.
- Provide technical support and assistance during deployment and post-deployment phases.
- Address integration-related issues or concerns.
- Provide CPN and SCO support to Coalition partners as needed.
- Provide expertise and advice relating to Coalition Partner Networks.
- Support 24/7 and holiday operations as required based on operational tempo.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in systems integration.
- Evaluate the potential impact of emerging technologies and industry trends on integration strategies.
- Recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices related to systems integration.
- 1 year of relevant technical experience.
- Experience working within Windows, Linux, and/or virtual environments.
- Ability to perform systems planning and coordinate/connect IT systems.
- Ability to expand and/or modify established systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Ability to establish standards for information systems procedures.

- Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification, such as CompTIA Security or equivalent.
- Active Top Secret DoD clearance, with willingness and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
- Microsoft certifications.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.
