The Controller will be the financial business partner to general management, will lead finance staff, own the P&L/financials for the business and provide actionable financial data along with detailed business results analysis, and provide strategic, solutions-based guidance. In addition, the Controller will manage all accounting operations, report financial results to HQ and implement internal controls, best practices and process excellence.
Key Challenges
- Develop relationships as a trusted financial business partner to executive management while being responsible for all financial reporting, analytics, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls and operations analysis along with reporting and collaboration with corporate HQ.
- Manage and develop a team, provide leadership and guidance, create efficiency and implement best practices.
- Managing accounting operations, oversight of AR, AP, general accounting while reporting results to HQ and providing actionable financial analysis.

Skills & Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least 10 years of experience that combines, management, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, and detailed analysis from a consumer goods or manufacturing environment.
- Experience partnering with executive management as a trusted financial business partner providing guidance and driving results.
- A CPA or MBA is preferred.
- Advanced Excel (Lookups and Pivot Tables), SAP or other ERP system and data analysis skills.
- Confidence, effective communication skills and the ability to present to senior business leaders and be persuasive.
- Leadership and experience managing junior staff members.
