Summary
We are looking for a Forklift Operator for our Long Beach facility. This is a full-time, fully on-site union position, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with possible overtime.
Job description
- Ability to operate a forklift to load and unload items
- Ability to work in a team environment, listen to directions, and execute instructions
- Ability to remove cable from electrical utility wheels with help of semi-automated de-reeling machine
- Ability to count and fill out check list for inventory purposes
- Sweeping area to keep clean and free of clutter or debris
- Working safely and adhering to company safety procedures
- Ability to continuously stand or walk.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.68 per hour
