What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Set Up Staff Person position at The Allure Event Center?
We are hiring for "part-time" Set Up Staff person at the Allure Wedding and Events Centers!
Join our team and participate in providing excellent customer service in our beautiful event venues. The majority of scheduling is located at 526 Indian Boundary Road in Chesterton, IN.
Our events are generally held on Friday and Saturdays, and occasionally host events on Sundays as well.
Work days for this Set Up position will vary, but primarily Tuesday mornings, Saturday mornings and sometimes Sunday mornings, for a total weekly hours of approximately 10- 15 hours.
Great work opportunity for persons who are retired or college students, who only want "part-time", short, morning work hours.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, demonstrates a positive attitude, is attentive and motivated, and must have a "clean and manicured" appearance - as our Event Customers are on site at various times.
Responsibilities
- Setting up tables and chairs, including tablecloths and table decor
- Placing table silverware and napkin place settings- specific to each event
- Assist in event decor set up
- Rolling silverware and preparing for upcoming events
- Attention to details for each event set up
Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Able to multitask efficiently
- Must meet minimum age requirement of 16 yrs
- No experience necessary, we will provide training- but following directions is a must
