What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Revenue Management position at The Alliance Group?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement revenue management and pricing strategies to optimize room revenue and overall profitability.
- Analyze booking patterns, market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust rates and inventory accordingly.
- Maintain and update pricing and availability across all distribution channels.
- Maintain records and track key performance indicators for profitability
- Analyze competitors' market positioning, brand reputation, and unique selling propositions to understand strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to senior management.
- Monitor and manage the hotel's pricing integrity and rate parity across all platforms.
- Utilize revenue management systems, property management systems, and channel managers to inform strategic decisions.
- Evaluate group and transient business to ensure optimal mix and pricing strategies.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for ancillary revenue (ie packages, upgrades, upsells).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of experience as a Revenue Manager in a HOTEL setting
- Luxury 4-5 star hotel/resort experience a plus
- Familiarity with yield management and forecasting.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
