Cashier – The All American Deli
The All American Deli is looking for a friendly, dependable cashier to join our team! You’ll greet customers, take orders, handle payments, and help keep our front counter running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing great service.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the register, process cash and card payments, and provide correct change.
- Answer menu questions and communicate customer requests to the kitchen.
- Check orders for accuracy, package carryout orders, and help get food to customers promptly.
- Keep the front counter, drink station, and dining area clean and organized.
- Restock napkins, cups, utensils, condiments, and other supplies.
- Help with opening and closing duties and follow food safety and cash handling procedures.
- Work with the team to keep service moving during busy periods.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly attitude and good communication skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a willingness to help.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail with orders and payments.
- The ability to stay organized and work well with others during a busy shift.
- Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
