Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate, charismatic Barre Instructor to deliver high-quality, boutique-style classes that embody our brand experience. This role is more than just teaching, it’s about creating meaningful connections, building a loyal community, and delivering an exceptional, personalized fitness experience during each class.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead signature Aligned Barre classes that reflect the studio’s method, energy, and brand standards
- Deliver an engaging, music-driven class experience with seamless transitions and strong cueing (striving for 128 bpm)
- Provide personalized attention, including hands-on corrections and tailored modifications
- Learn client names, goals, and preferences to foster a strong sense of community
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive studio environment from check-in to class finish
- Assist with studio events, workshops, and community-building initiatives
- Maintain studio cleanliness, presentation, and equipment between classes (i.e. sweep floor, clean rented mats, organize weights)
- Actively promote studio memberships, retail, and special offerings
Qualifications
- Barre and or Mat Pilates certification or group fitness certification with Barre teaching experience
- Experience teaching in a boutique fitness environment strongly preferred
- Strong musicality and ability to coach rhythm-based movement
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and client engagement
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and building community
- CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain before opening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lead high-energy classes and demonstrate exercises for extended periods
- Comfortable providing hands-on adjustments (per studio policy)
- Ability to lift and set up light studio equipment
Work Environment
- Boutique studio setting with a strong focus on client experience and aesthetics
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak class times- minimum requirement of 3 classes per week preferred

Employment Status (At-Will)
This position is at-will. Either the employee or the studio may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, in accordance with California law.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
