Summary
In this role, you'll be planning and overseeing daily activities, preparing activity materials, and helping students with their homework. Our B&A teachers encourage social, physical, and intellectual growth within children. We are looking for friendly, approachable individuals with a passion for teaching and working with children.
Duties & Responsibilities
Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Transport students to and from The Alexander School of Early Learning via 14 passenger bus
Qualifications:
Prefer at least a CDA or higher in an education field or related field
At least 23 years of age with a clean driving record
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with parents and children.
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must come to work and be dependable and reliable.
