Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and innovative.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored according to food safety standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like catering or private parties.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage recipe development, and mixology techniques.
- Proven ability in wine knowledge, spirits expertise, craft beer experience, and food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with an energetic approach to guest engagement.
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is essential.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate processing of transactions.
