Afro Eatery Lounge (Afro Lounge HTX) is a vibrant Afro-fusion restaurant and lounge in Houston, TX, open seven days a week with busy evening and weekend service.
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable Cleaner to keep our restaurant, lounge, bar, restrooms, and kitchen areas spotless and guest-ready. Day and late-night/after-close shifts are available.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, lounge seating, bar tops, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the venue
- Empty trash and recycling; keep back-of-house and storage areas tidy
- Support the kitchen team with dish area and deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Requirements
- Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred but not required — we will train
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and/or late-night after-close shifts

Pay: $22.35 - $26.92 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
