TITLE: Senior General Accountant
LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT (Must be in office at least 3 days a week)
EMPLOYER: AES Clean Energy Services, LLC
RESPONSIBILITIES: Records financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; Use software applications to assemble and format data and/or reports; Analyzes, reconciles and evaluates the accuracy of general ledger accounting details and ensures the amounts are proper and classified correctly; Monitors and ensures compliance with AES policies, internal controls and corporate policies; Identifies problem areas, evaluates their causes and takes action to resolve the problems. Designs and implements improvement to the existing processes. Exceed the requirements of our external and internal customers; SAP and BPC experience; Intercompany Accounting expert; Advanced Excel skills; Show a high degree of competence, service and initiative in solving problems on your own.
QUALIFICATIONS: Job requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field and 5 Years of experience in Accounting or a related field.
