We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated elementary school teacher to join our team and support the intellectual and social development of our students. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the academic and developmental needs of elementary-aged children, along with a compassionate approach to the common challenges the students may face.
We are seeking educators who are committed to helping students achieve academic success through thoughtful assessment, strategic grouping, and personalized instruction for students academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Common Core Standards
- Prepare and organize learning materials and resources
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods (e.g., stories, multimedia, games, arts, outdoor activities) to enhance student learning and motivation
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and mastery of academic skills
- Analyze student performance data to inform instruction and group students effectively
- Maintain a professional communication to providing updates on student progress
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages cooperation and respect
- Work closely with school administrators and support staff to uphold academic and behavioral standards
- Ensure compliance with school policies, teaching standards, and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an elementary school teacher
- Proficiency with ClassDojo and educational technology platforms
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate online curricula and operate SMART Boards
- Creative, engaging, and student-centered teaching style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education
- MUST BE BILINGUAL (Englis/Spanish)
