What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to recruit and hire a full-time Senior Accountant to manage key accounting functions across multiple manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, including reconciliation and reporting for regional facilities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee capital expenditures and ensure proper classification.
- Handle all aspects of fixed assets: capitalization, depreciation, amortization, disposals, and write-offs.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide insights for corporate decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in internal and external audits and physical inventories.
- Support other functions as assigned by the manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of accounting experience.
- Expertise in financial and general accounting, fixed assets, CapEx, reporting, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax depreciation rules.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
