What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer (El Paso) position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco has partnered with a leading global manufacturer to find a Process Engineer (Plastics) in the El Paso, TX metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize extrusion processes across materials, machinery, and operator workflows
- Apply structured testing, risk analysis, and process monitoring to optimize extrusion performance and ensure product quality.
- Lead material and product testing, including developing test methods, troubleshooting, validating results, and ensuring quality and performance standards
- Direct lab technicians and oversee lab operations, including equipment, resources, and documentation
- Develop and maintain operating procedures, process setups, quality documentation, and product specifications
- Support integration of new equipment and processes, including testing, qualification, and vendor coordination
- Provide production support to on-site and off-site manufacturing teams as needed
- Partner with cross-functional teams on project planning, timelines, and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 7 years of experience in plastics engineering or a similar materials engineering role
- Hands-on experience with plastics extrusion, polymer processes, and lab testing.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available
