Candidates for our full time Inside Sales position will excel in providing the very best customer service, from making new customers feel welcome and appreciated to nurturing long-term customer relationships for return sales. We are looking for a team player who values the roles of co-workers and looks for ways to contribute to everyone’s success. As a member of our Inside Sales team, you will be using product knowledge to educate the customer so that they make satisfying product selections to promote the best buying experience available. Product training is provided.
Essential Job Functions:
- Primary responsibility is to identify, control and facilitate deliveries and pick up of product in the most efficient manner
- Identify/process orders to be delivered or picked up
- Allocate warehouse resources
- Staging pick-ups and deliveries
- Routing trucks efficiently
- Processing walk-in pick-ups
- Efficiently handle heavy incoming phone call load while representing the company in a professional, friendly manner.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers and fabricator clients
- Process product returns
- Conduct quality control
- Building brokered trucks and interacting with freight brokers
- Handle product invoicing
- Process walk-in payments by applying cash, credit card and check payments
- Collecting pre-payments on COD transactions
- Collecting long-term Accounts Receivable
- Process check requests (AP)
- Process daily electronic deposits
- Make bank deposit runs
- Maintain petty cash
- Process incoming mail
- Complete end of day reporting
Job Qualifications:
- Customer Service experience, preferably in the stone business
- Receptive to training and supervision
- A team player who values the roles of co-workers and looks for ways to contribute to everyone’s success
