POSITION: Field Reporting Specialist Job Description

REPORTS TO: Field Operations Manager

Field Reporting Specialist – Part Time - Roof

Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for the collection of images and information regarding homes and businesses. This position interacts with policyholders, insurance agency personnel, and coworkers while maintaining a polite, professional manner and appearance. This position uses their own, personal vehicle, personal computer, and smart phone which will be used to obtain these images and information. Most of the workday will be spent outdoors collecting photos and information with the remainder of the workday being spent in the Field Rep’s home office. Some overnight travel may be required. The position is best suited for those that are goal-oriented, self-starters with good time management skills not requiring close supervision.

Competencies:

 Proficiency with personal computer.

 Proficiency with smart phone.

 Proficiency with GPS or mapping tool.

 Good organizational skills.

 Consistently meet service, quality, and production expectations.

Physical Requirements:

 Be physically fit and able to drive, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.

 Have good balance, being able to walk up/down inclines and across uneven ground.

 Be able to lift up to 50 lb. ladder repeatedly throughout the day.

 Be able to climb up/down an extension ladder and walk low to moderately pitched roofs.

Other Requirements:

 Dependable vehicle with valid insurance.

 Personal computer with internet service.

 Mobile smart phone.

 Mobile device compatible with Reliable Report’s Android based mobile application.

 Be in compliance with employee handbook and company policies and procedures.

 Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Must be comfortable with working outside in the elements which can include extreme hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time several days in the week. Must be comfortable with potentially long commutes and driving in both rural and urban settings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position up to 29 hours, Monday through Friday and some weekend availability.

Travel

Occasional overnight travel may be required.
