Reporting to the Principal or administrator designee, the In-House Substitute Teacher provides consistent, high-quality instructional support by implementing or developing lesson plans aligned to classroom expectations, fostering active student engagement, and maintaining a positive, well-managed learning environment. Assumes full instructional responsibilities during long-term assignments, including planning, grading, and family communication. Utilizes diverse teaching strategies and data-driven practices to meet the varied needs of students, including small group instruction, while upholding high expectations for academic achievement and behavior. Collaborates effectively with staff, families, and the broader community, supervises students across school settings, and actively participates in professional development to continuously improve instructional practice.
