This is not a passive aide role. Summer Teaching Partners at Sandwich Montessori School take an active part in guiding children's days — planning lessons, leading activities, and contributing to a calm, engaging classroom environment alongside experienced Montessori educators.

What You'll Do
Summer Teaching Partners are active contributors in the classroom, not just helpers in the background.
You will:
- Plan and lead age-appropriate lessons and small group activities
- Work directly with children throughout the day, supporting their independence and curiosity
- Help prepare and maintain a calm, organized classroom environment
- Support classroom transitions, routines, and daily rhythms
- Observe children and adjust your approach based on their needs
- Collaborate with experienced Montessori educators who will mentor and guide you
- Communicate clearly and professionally with your classroom team

Qualifications
You do not need prior Montessori experience. Strong candidates typically have:

EEC Qualified is a plus
Compensation
Summer Teaching Partners are paid hourly based on experience.
Pay range: $19 – $23 per hour
This role also includes mentorship from experienced Montessori educators and a professional reference upon successful completion of the summer.
