AMS is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and safety of the Peoria Advanced campus. This role is responsible for maintaining school facilities, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, painting, landscaping, and minor construction.
- Maintain school facilities including classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
- Assist with larger campus improvement projects as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety and chemical handling regulations.
- Support campus security by ensuring proper care and storage of tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Identify potential safety concerns and recommend solutions to campus leadership.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies.
- Track and document maintenance activities and repairs.
- Provide recommendations to administration regarding equipment repair or replacement.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience.
- Ability to perform a variety of hands-on repair and maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff and leadership.
- Ability to pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
