Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide on-site technical support to staff, school leaders, and campus users across two Tucson locations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and technology-related issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Support classroom and office technology, including projectors, phones, and AV equipment.

  • Manage competing requests from multiple campuses, managers, and departments while maintaining responsiveness and service quality.
  • Coordinate daily priorities and campus visits based on ticket volume, critical issues, testing/instructional needs, and scheduled technology projects.
  • Work effectively with multiple school leaders and managers while maintaining clear communication regarding priorities, timelines, and outstanding issues.
  • Adjust priorities as urgent technology needs arise while ensuring lower-priority requests continue to be tracked and addressed.
  • Maintain a professional, customer-service-oriented approach when supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Systems & Network Support

  • Support device imaging, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain and update network and IT documentation.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
  • Assist with technology setup and deployment for new staff, classrooms, offices, and campus initiatives.
  • Help identify recurring technical issues and communicate trends or concerns to IT leadership.

Campus Technology Operations

  • Support technology readiness for daily instruction, state testing, assessments, and other campus activities.
  • Ensure technology equipment is functioning properly, securely, and is available when needed.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, asset management, and equipment transfers between campuses.
  • Support technology moves, installations, and other campus projects as assigned.
  • Help maintain organized and functional technology workspaces, equipment, and supplies at both campuses.

Customer Service & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build positive working relationships with teachers, school leaders, administrative staff, and students across both campuses.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally to non-technical users.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership and network IT staff to resolve issues and support campus technology needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with staff, student, and organizational information.
  • Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.
