- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.
- Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
- Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.
- Foster strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking.
- Participate in weekly professional development and grade-level collaboration meetings.
- Work closely with instructional leaders and colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and academic goals.
- Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.
- Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support student behavior and social-emotional development.
- Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nevada Department of Education (NDE) teaching license in a relevant subject area by the time of appointment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to pass required state and federal background checks.
- Commitment to serving students in Title I and multilingual communities.
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction.
- Willingness to implement rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum within the AMS instructional framework.
- Two (2) or more years of direct K–12 teaching experience as a teacher of record.
- Experience working in Title I or high-need school settings.
- Experience differentiating instruction for multilingual learners.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Experience collaborating within professional learning communities.
