- Serve as the first point of contact for assigned work, coordinating the daily activities of the fabrication cell.

- Attend company training to develop leadership skills and expertise further.
- Perform Fabrication duties
- As a working lead, operate fabrication equipment proficiently to meet production needs and address equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist team members with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to parts, tooling, and processes.
- Address and resolve equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure parts are labeled, organized, and flow efficiently with minimal work-in-progress (WIP) inventory.

- Recommend and implement best practices to prioritize safety, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors, representing Aagard accurately and positively.
- Overtime may be required based on business and customer needs. Team members may be asked to work before or after their scheduled shift or on non-regular workdays.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology plus 1 year of fabrication experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Proven career growth in fabrication roles with expertise in setting up and operating fabrication equipment
- Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and use of Aagard software
- Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
- Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
