Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, installation and maintenance, with a strong background in troubleshooting, as well as local and state codes. The Electrical Technician will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement of installation processes.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage equipment.
- Interpret and work from drawn plans and other design tools.
- Installation and configuration of home fixtures switches etc..
- Must have reliable transportation for travel between job sites
- Must have own Tools ( drills hammer screwdrivers sawsall etc…) tools can be provided on case by case basis and will require reimbursement if kept
Skills
- Proven experience as an electrician or electrical technician within residential and/or commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of local, parish, and state codes or willing to learn
- Familiarity with high-voltage systems, low-voltage controls, and safety protocols related to electrical work.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation.
- Experience working in field service roles is a plus; military background is advantageous but not required. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing operations through expert electrical knowledge combined with mechanical understanding.
