Sales Order Coordinator

The Role
You’ll own every customer order from the day it comes in until it ships. You’ll track what each order needs, tell our Production team what to make and when, and keep our customers up to date. If you like keeping things organized and hate letting things slip through the cracks, this job is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Review and track every incoming order: products, quantities and ship-by dates
• Keep our order tracker current with status, stock on hand, what still needs to be made, and any delays
• Send Production a prioritized daily list of what’s needed and when, allowing time for assembly, picking and packing
• Confirm with Production whether each order will be on time, and follow up on anything running late
• Coordinate with our Fulfillment team so they know what’s coming and when
• Answer customer questions about order status, ship dates and tracking
• Let customers know about delays early, not on the ship date
• Bring late or at-risk orders to management with options for solving them

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years in order processing, customer service, inside sales, or a warehouse or manufacturing office
• Highly organized; you keep your tracker current without being reminded
• Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel and email
• Clear, direct communicator who can deliver bad news early and professionally
• Strong follow-through; open questions get answered the same day

Nice to Have

• Experience with wholesale or B2B accounts
• Experience in a production or made-to-order environment
• Familiarity with shipping or order management software

No college degree or project management certification required.
