Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to promote hygiene and safety.
• Conduct laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces immaculate.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely while adhering to proper handling protocols.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities like patio or porch cleaning to uphold exterior cleanliness standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
• Use cleaning equipment efficiently and perform routine maintenance checks on tools to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to janitorial and custodial work, ensuring a sanitized environment for all occupants.

Experience

• Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with janitorial procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with floor cleaning techniques including carpet extraction and floor polishing.
• Knowledge of laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements when necessary.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces such as patios or walkways.
• Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver outstanding service consistently.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
