Position Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level Account Manager to join our Garden City sales team. This is an in-person, customer-facing sales position focused on customer acquisition, account support, product education, and relationship building.
This opportunity may be a strong fit for someone who is motivated, professional, comfortable speaking with customers, and interested in developing experience in sales, account management, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one, in-person sales presentations with prospective customers
- Educate customers about our client’s products, services, pricing, and available options
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate services
- Prepare and explain accurate product information and price quotes
- Build and maintain professional customer relationships
- Respond to customer questions and address concerns professionally
- Use the company’s CRM system to enter customer information and track sales activity
- Follow up with qualified prospects and existing accounts when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account activity
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and other departments to support sales and company growth
- Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional-development training
- Work toward individual and team performance goals while maintaining quality customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to learn product and service information
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and respond appropriately to time-sensitive matters
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or account support is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in person at our Garden City location
