Shift Leader

Position Purpose:
We are searching for a highly energetic, guest-focused, dependable, adaptable, and collaborative leader who will consistently deliver strong sales and service results as a THB Key Holder. The Key Holder position is responsible for ensuring that team members remain on task throughout their shifts and that the restaurant is clean, organized and well-stocked at all times. The Key Holder must partner with other members of management to keep the business operating smoothly in a safe and compliant work environment, while always adhering to THB’s top priority of providing a superior guest experience. Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Work the expo station, accurately and efficiently organizing and packaging hot and cold orders for guests
Ensure Guest Ambassadors remain in their positions throughout their shifts and orchestrate completion of assigned tasks (refills, table cleaning, restrooms check)
Maintain a clean and organized station at all times
Maintain a sense of urgency, be prepared, and anticipate the rush/ peak service times
Handle guest complaints as necessary
Immediately inform GM or AGM of any issues
Take and prepare catering orders
Open and Close restaurant as needed
Monitor Bagel supply to ensure sufficient quantities at all times. Request additional bagels to be baked when running low, by coordinating with the baker using the bagel production book
Understand all front-of-house positions, coach staff members on tasks, and jump in to assist with any role, as necessary

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Proven work ethic, punctual
Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
Good communication skills
Basic business math and accounting skills
Basic personal computer skills
Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills are a plus

Working Conditions:
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment with access to kitchen equipment in tight quarters
Slip resistant shoes are the standard for the team

Physical Activity:
Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time. Bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs) are also required.
