Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure timely dish delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to produce high-quality dishes
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to facilitate efficient service flow
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed
- Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and uphold excellent customer service standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
