Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Activities Director to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents. This position ensures programs meet residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs, comply with regulatory standards, and promote engagement and overall wellness. This is a part-time, hourly position (~20 hours/week).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a resident-centered activity program that addresses the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of all residents.
Assess resident interests, abilities, and needs to tailor activities and ensure meaningful participation.
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities, including group events, one-on-one sessions, outings, and special events.
Maintain documentation of resident participation, progress, and program effectiveness in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Relevant experience in activities programming preferred
Hardworking, honest, upbeat attitude
Ability to pass drug and background checks
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
Professional appearance and demeanor
Basic computer literacy
