YOUR ROLE

As a TSM Hairstylist / Colorist, you’ll provide professional hair services while creating an experience that keeps clients coming back.

You’ll consult with each client, assess their hair needs, recommend appropriate services and products, execute your desired technique, and educate your client on maintaining their look between appointments.

Depending on your specialties, services may include:

• Women’s and men’s haircuts
• Blowouts and styling
• Dimensional color
• Balayage
• Highlights and lowlights
• Blonding services
• Gray coverage
• Fashion and creative color
• Color corrections
• Root touch-ups
• Glosses and toning
• Hair treatments
• Formal and special-event styling
• Bridal hairstyling
• Men’s grooming and styling
• Extensions
• Customized hair transformations

REQUIREMENTS

• Current California Cosmetology or Barbering license
• Minimum 6 months of professional salon experience
• Demonstrated experience in hairstyling and/or hair color
• Strong consultation and communication skills
• Excellent customer-service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional workstation
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development

PREFERRED

• Established clientele
• Bridal or formal styling experience
• Advanced color experience
• Balayage/blonding expertise
• Color correction experience
• Extensions experience
• Strong social media presence or portfolio
• Additional professional certifications or advanced education

Portfolio: A portfolio of your work is strongly encouraged and may be requested during the application process.
