That’s My Dog!, a nationally recognized dog training, boarding, and daycare center located in Dubuque IA, is in the process of looking for a great team members to join our organization. At That’s My Dog! we are rewarded by working in the presence of dogs each day, however, this job does come with a high level of responsibility and physicality.
Here are a few details:
Position: Kennel and Doggy Daycare Associate
Hours: Part time (10-20 hours) position is available. Does include weekends and holidays.
Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
- cleaning/maintaining the kennel area
- feeding/medicating dogs
- bathing dogs
- supervising dogs in boarding/Doggy Daycare (behavior/activity)
- general housekeeping duties
- working with clients
- general office duties (answering the phone, checking out clients), etc.
There is also the potential for on-site dog training education if interested and eligible.
- Qualified applicants are those with (but not limited to):
- Some related experience and/or training preferred
- Both language and mathematical skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Capable of standing/walking for long durations
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
