Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets and assists customers with product recommendations and pet care advice.
- Maintains clean, safe, and well-stocked sales floor areas.
- Cleaning and handling of birds
- Monitors and replenishes merchandise displays.
- Provides accurate information about promotions, loyalty programs, and store policies.
- Works closely with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Assists with customer returns, exchanges, and problem resolution.
- Supports the register area when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive and welcoming approach toward people and pets.
- Eager to learn about products and pet care.
- Team player with accountability to both customers and coworkers.
- Ability to handle multiple customer needs simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail or customer service experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Bending, reaching, and climbing ladders as needed.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
