Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview

Assist in managing store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. This position supports the Store Manager in executing store processes, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. It involves participating in hiring, training, and developing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to meet sales targets.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Help monitor store financials by reviewing sales, expenses, and inventory trends.
• Ensure a positive customer experience through leadership and exemplary service.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and proper documentation.
• Operate store in the absence of the Store Manager and support compliance with policies and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret procedures, perform math calculations, and learn POS systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cash handling, and safety policies.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.
  
  

Physical & Working Conditions

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, driving, and exposure to outdoor conditions. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise. Some travel may be required.
