Part Time - Floral Lead

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet goals and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Order, maintain, and control inventory for product freshness and quality.
• Verify received orders for accuracy, quality, and condition, ensuring proper storage.
• Manage a team to complete stocking, production, and quality tasks, including product rotation and handling spoiled/damaged items.
• Maintain product knowledge and awareness of sales features, promotions, and store programs.
• Execute weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, and payroll in line with company guidelines.
• Support staffing, training, performance management, and associate development.
• Participate in meetings, communicate department goals, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Adhere to food safety, safety protocols, PPE, and guest experience standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed, including cross-departmental tasks.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preference for 0-2 years retail experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership ability with hands-on environment experience.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; suggestive selling and product knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desirable.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform retail environment tasks.
  
  

Physical & Additional Requirements: Must meet physical demands, including lifting and extended standing. The work environment varies, with exposure to temperature changes and noise. Travel may be required.
