- Own full design cycles from concept to operational handover for structures, test stands, and tooling.
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings complying with industry standards.
- Perform structural and mechanical analysis using FEA software and hand calculations.
- Contribute to safety assessments and develop testing, activation, and commissioning plans.
- Manage fabrication support, resolve technical issues, and oversee installation activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors throughout project lifecycle.
- Provide schedule, scope, and budget input, ensuring project delivery.
- B.S. in mechanical, civil, aerospace engineering or related field; 3-7 years’ experience in structural/mechanical design.
- Proficiency with CAD (Creo/NX), FEA (ANSYS), and GD&T standards.
- Experience with steel and aluminum welded structures, industry codes (ASME, OSHA, AISC).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, structural analysis, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful resident.
