Events Set Up Crew Job Description
Wage: $15/hour
Shifts: Part time. Day shifts: 8am-5pm. Night shifts & Saturdays: hours vary by event.

Responsibilities:
- Work with a team under the direction of the Setup Manager in all aspects of event setup operations.
- Setup and tear down of property events including:
- Moving tables and chairs from venue to venue
- Table Settings
- Use of equipment for cleaning i.e. pressure washer, leaf blower
- Event Tents
- Inventory of Thanksgiving Point assets
- Upkeep of Thanksgiving Point facilities relating to events.
- Interact and collaborate with multiple departments on property
- Must be able to listen, follow directions, and be teachable and willing to learn new tasks on the fly.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Requirements:
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Includes lifting crates, chafers, furniture, AV equipment, decorations, etc., as required for room setups and special events.
- Must have some weekday morning availability.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Pass a background check.
- Be at least 16 years old.
