Wage: $20-23/hour plus
Shift: Full time. Shifts between 8am and 10pm, Mon-Sat. Must have open availability weekends and holidays.

Summary: Our Bread Baker supports daily production of baked goods, pastries, and desserts for all outlets, catering functions, and retail operations. This position ensures consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake cheesecakes, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
- Measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake doughs and batters with attention to detail and consistency.
- Assist with decorating, finishing, and packaging baked items for retail and events.
- Maintain par levels and communicate ingredient or product shortages promptly.
- Properly label, rotate, and store ingredients and finished goods following FIFO and food safety guidelines.
- Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, sheeters, proofers, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, and storage according to sanitation and safety standards.
- Follow all health department, HACCP, and company food safety procedures.
- Support daily setup, tear-down, and cleaning of workstations.
- Assist in inventory counts and product organization as needed.
- Collaborate with other culinary team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Uphold Thanksgiving Point’s core values of quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a professional bakery or culinary environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking principles, ingredient functionality, and food safety.
- Ability to follow recipes, scale ingredients accurately, and maintain consistent results.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as production requires.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
- Pass a background check.
Work Environment
Fast-paced kitchen/bakery setting with exposure to heat, flour dust, and commercial equipment. Requires use of PPE (oven mitts, aprons, non-slip shoes, etc.). Team-oriented environment with strong emphasis on collaboration and quality output.
