What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Energy Worker position at Thames Valley Council for Community Action?
This position works directly with families and individuals seeking assistance with their winter heating costs. Working in a high volume, high stress environment, this individual will utilize customized Energy Assistance software and assist customers in compiling all necessary documents to qualify for the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP). Additionally, this role involves partnering with all utility providers in New London County to assist individuals and families with winter heating costs and related social service needs. Responsibilities include completing intake and eligibility for TVCCA’s Energy Assistance Program, Eversource Payment Programs, and Generation Power.

Required Skills
Associates Degree plus one year related work experience, or High SchoolDiploma/GED plus three years related work experience. Bi-lingual encouraged to apply.
Salary : $46,262 - $64,435
